Early in the morning of 6th June 1944 a vast armada ploughed steadily through the rough waters of the English Channel. Had D-Day failed the western allies would not have been able to launch another operation for at least another year, perhaps longer and todays map of Europe might have been very different. This is the story of the men who fought and died on those Normandy beaches. Format: VHS PAL (UK ONLY)
