COOKIES:
A cookie is a small, text file that a web site creates to interact
with its audience. For our purposes, we use this technology to keep track
of items that you purchase from our virtual store. Therefore, in order
for our shopping cart system to function correctly, you need to ensure
that your browser is capable of accepting "cookies". You can
adjust this setting in your browsers preferences menu.
How to enable cookies (example
for Internet Explorer 6 users):
From the main menu bar click "Tools" then "Internet Options".
Then click on the "Privacy" tab and adjust the settings slider
so that it reads "Medium-High". This setting will allow our
store to function, but also continue to block any third-party cookies
that try to obtain personal information (such as your email address) from
your computer without your consent.
SECURITY:
If you intend to purchase goods using our online payment system, it
is imperative that your browser supports SSL encryption (all modern browsers
do). It is extremely unsafe to submit credit card & other personal
information over the Internet via a web site that does not offer this
safe guard. To protect your privacy, SecureHosting
Ltd (the people who handle our online payments) offer the highest
level of protection available (128 bit encryption). In addition, a high-end
"FireWall" is installed on their secure server, to prevent hackers
from accessing your sensitive information once it's in their possession.
Our online payment system, and
the vast majority of others, are completely safe. However,
there are sites that do not offer the same level of protection.
Therefore, always look for the "padlock" or "key"
symbol which your browser will display when accessing a
SSL secured area. Ordinarily, the symbol is displayed on
your browsers information panel which, in the case of Internet
Explorer, is the thin grey bar across the bottom of the
browser window. If this symbol does not appear, it is not
safe to for you to submit any kind of sensitive information.
If you require an alternative order form for fax or postal
orders, fill the basket as usual and when you check out

the top of the page, print it out and send it to us.

the exact postage amount.
