I bet they’re shaking in their boots
after John Reid got tough with the new wave of immigrants
who will soon be heading to our shores when Romania and
Bulgaria join the EU in the New Year.
As with almost everything connected with New Labour, this
is not all that it seems. John Reid’s tough new policy
is nothing but smoke and mirrors in an attempt to portray
a tough stance on immigration, which it clearly is not.
What he has said, is that he will only issue a certain amount
of work permits to unskilled workers. It does not mean that
any unskilled worker is not free to come and live in this
country. Further more if an unskilled person is found to
be working without a permit, as they are legally entitled
to live here, it is impossible to deport them. There is
no limit at all on skilled and self-employed people. John
Reid has said there will be fines for anyone employing someone
illegally but bearing in mind the mess that is the Home
Office don’t hold your breath. It’s much easier
and less paperwork to fine people like you and me because
they know who we are and they know where we live.
But never mind the jobs that these new immigrants will
be taking from English people. That’s only part of
it. It can only have been a couple of weeks ago that our
prisons were at bursting point. Bear in mind that 1 in 7
prisoners being held in British prisons are foreign. Also
bear in mind that only last week a secret Cabinet memo warned
that 80 to 85 per cent of all cash point crime was being
committed by Romanian gangs and the government was further
warned to expect around another 45,000 “undesirables”
to land on our shores’ fresh in from Romania. Where
does the well being of the English people fit into all this?
It seems to me that this government is determined to integrate
us into a greater Europe no matter what the consequences.
I can think of no other words to describe them apart from
traitors. These very same people who have been elected to
look after OUR interests, first and foremost are throwing
us to the wolves but it won’t be the likes of Tony
Blair and Jon Reid who suffer the consequences. It will
be the poorest people who will pay the price and to the
everlasting shame of this LABOUR government it will only
bring benefit to the richest. And they wonder why they are
losing votes to the BNP - TC
