The C4 news “science” correspondent reports
on research from University College London about the distribution of Anglo-Saxon
and Celtic blood in England and Wales. The report includes the statements:
“If the Welsh at times feel persecuted, they’re right.”
and “the English are basically German: if you want a true Brit,
come to Wales.”

had to go and have a lie down after reading this piece. The ignorance
displayed by the writer and the downright offensive nature of the conclusions
drawn from the dodgy scientific “data” were just too much
for this WATE pixie. This subject deserves far more time and space than
we can give it here. Look out for a full article on this soon.
