The Sun's Nic Cecil reports on John Prescott's plan
to carve up England...
Conservative MP Michael Fabricant is quoted "This
will take power away from local people and into the hands of officials
in large cities."
Sir Patrick Cormack goes on to say that Prescott is "bent on rewriting,
redrawing and destroying the map of this country" and accused him
of "putting into jeopardy the very identity of England".
WATE's comment: I know I've said it before but they really
are taking the p***. They think they can get away with murder just because
the Tory's are so useless but this really is an insult to our intelligence.
Why do they think that England should be treated any differently to Scotland.
Are we not worthy of our own Parliament? If the Conservatives are going
to be an effective opposition they should come up with an effective plan
to end the discrimination that the English face every day. It has also
been reported that Prezza's potty plan will saddle us with another 111,000
new politicians…
